MyCoastFirePlan is run by Gourav Boruah. This page explains what happens to your information when you use the site. Contact: hello@mycoastfireplan.com.
The short version
The numbers you type into the calculator stay on your device. We do not have accounts, we do not ask for your name or email, and we cannot see your plan.
What is stored on your device
When you press Save my plan or Save check-in, your plan and check-ins are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device only. They are not sent to us. They stay until you press Delete everything saved here or clear your browser data.
Backup files and share images are created on your device. A backup is only stored where you choose to save it. A share image is only sent where you choose to share it.
What our hosting provider sees
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information to deliver the pages and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It only sets cookies after you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you press Decline, no Analytics cookies are set and Google receives only a basic, cookie-free signal that a page was viewed. Google Analytics sees the page address, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. It never receives the numbers you type into the calculator. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. See Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising
There are no ads on the site today. If we add ads in future, this page will be updated before they appear to explain what the ad provider collects and how to opt out.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes too.
